Aquatic toxicity tests were conducted in January 1994 on water samples from six sites in Little Beaver Creek, two sites in Big Run, one site each in three small tributaries, and one site each in three reference streams, Sugar Run, Pike Run, and Sunfish Creek. Tests followed standard BMAP protocols using fathead minnows and Ceriodaphnia.
| Fathead minnow survival was not reduced significantly at any site. Minnow growth was reduced approximately 30% at two sites in Little Beaver Creek (LBK 2.9 and 3.3). | |
| Ceriodaphnia survival was not reduced at any site and reproduction only declined slightly compared to results at the reference sites. |
