Ph.D. in toxicology from Oregon State University in 1993 with emphasis in developmental and reproductive toxicology. Research experience and interests include rat whole embryo culture, rat embryo inicrodissection, neural crest cell culture, genetic control of development, developmental and reproductive outcomes from environmental contaminants, and developmental toxicity studies with both rats and rabbits. Dr. Wood also has classroom and laboratory teaching experience in cellular physiology (graduate level) and in histology (professional level: Veterinary Medicine). Her publication record includes six abstracts, eight peer-reviewed articles, one book chapter and many government reports. Dr. Wood is currently certified in General Toxicology by the American Board of Toxicology.
