M.S. in forest ecology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1974, where his research concentrated on plant-water relationships. Mr. Lewis has over 30 years experience at ORNL in a variety of disciplines, including the environmental fate and effects of xenobiotics, data and information management, procedure development, and industrial hazard surveys. He has served as the ORNL Coordinator for Industrial Waste Management at ORNL. His environmental interests also include environmental regulations, waste management, and the effects of acidic deposition on vegetation and soils.
