Since 1987, Bo Saulsbury has served as a technical contributor and/or project manager on a variety of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) projects for a number of Federal agencies. He has worked on assessments of the impacts of hydroelectric, coal, and geothermal power plant and biorefinery construction and operation (U.S. Department of Energy and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission); nuclear power plant licensing and license renewal and in-situ leach uranium mining (U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission); the disposal of chemical weapons stockpiles (U.S. Army); and the U.S. Antarctic research program (National Science Foundation). Since 2000, he has worked with ORNL’s Fuel Economy Information Program to provide consumers with information about vehicle fuel economy through the U.S. Department of Energy web site www.fueleconomy.gov.
