Staff expertise
| The wide range of experience and expertise of our staff allows us to address a variety of environmental problems in both freshwater and marine ecosystems. Our staff includes molecular biologists; physiologists; fish ecologists; bioenergetic, fish population, and aquatic ecosystem modelers; geochemists; and ecological risk assessors. This multidisciplinary staff has allowed us to evaluate the ecological significance of environmental perturbations on a variety of aquatic systems throughout the United States. In addition, our staff members are also involved in the use of geographic information systems, digital elevation models, and hydrologic modeling to relate land use to water quality in the assessment of large regional watersheds and in the restoration of aquatic systems. |
