Research Interests:
- Exploring the interaction of a nitrogen-fixing bacteria and host plant with 16S rRNA surveys in the field and constructed communities in the laboratory. I am interested in determining the role of the host plant in selecting or recruiting nitrogen fixers and will attempt to elucidate n-fixer association determined by plant genetics. Additionally, I am examining the effects of warming and other disturbances on microbial interaction and function in the plant microbiome.
