Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky in 1972.  Dr. Leggett joined the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1976 and has participated in a number of radiological reference and dosimetry efforts.  He currently serves on the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) serving on several task groups and on the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (NCRP) where he also has served on several committees.  He is well published in his field.
