Ph.D. in toxicology from Oregon State University in 1993 with emphasis in develop­mental and reproductive toxicology. Research experience and interests include rat whole embryo culture, rat embryo inicrodissection, neural crest cell culture, genetic con­trol of development, develop­mental and reproductive outcomes from environmental contaminants, and develop­mental toxicity studies with both rats and rabbits. Dr. Wood also has classroom and laboratory teaching experience in cellular physiology (graduate level) and in histology (professional level: Veterinary Medicine). Her publication record includes six abstracts, eight peer-reviewed articles, one book chapter and many government reports.  Dr. Wood is currently certified in General Toxicology by the American Board of Toxicology.
