Linduo Zhao received her Ph.D. in Geosciences from Miami University in 2015. Her Ph.D. research focused on “Iron Redox Process in Clay Minerals and Its Environmental Significance.” In September 2015, Zhao joined ORNL’s Mercury Science Focus Area program as a postdoctoral research associate with Baohua Gu. Her research specializes in understanding complex biogeochemical transformation of mercury including microbial methylation/demethylation, reduction/oxidation, and sorption/desorption in environmental media.
